Plaaggeest is a newly formed, five-piece avant-folk rock band. Their collection of strings and sticks includes: Irish bouzouki, electric and acoustic guitar, vocals, piano, bass guitar and drums. Where whispers grow into storms that reverberate through the skull.

Rooted in traditional rhythms and melodies, they are also influenced by Nick Cave, Richard Dawson, Mount Eerie, Caroline en Lankum.
